Can I tell you how much I love winter weddings? This Skytop Lodge Winter Poconos Wedding was truly one of the best celebrations I’ve ever had the privilege of being a part of, and I’m so honored to have documented this day!
Lindsey & Ray actually met in high school but didn’t start dating until years later when they found each other at the same bar on NYE in Manhattan. Since Ray loves photography and Lindsey is always looking for an excuse for a weekend getaway, they planned a weekend trip to the Poconos during Fall foliage last year where Ray ultimately popped the question on the hiking trails at Skytop Lodge at the top of the Indian Ladder Falls. Fast forward to this December, they were able to get married in the Pocono mountains at the same place Ray proposed a year earlier!
Linsey chose a classic romantic palette of white and ivory with simple, elegant details that were just perfect for a winter lodge wedding. Lindsey wore an Anne Barge ‘Brooks’ gown, which was absolutely stunning against the champagne bridesmaids dresses and black tuxedos, creating the perfect timeless winter wedding look!
