Seneca Lake Engagement | Erica & Ryan

I had the opportunity to travel up to the finger lakes area of New York again last week and was thrilled to be able to spend time with Erica & Ryan, one of my 2020 couples! I was SO thrilled to hear from Erica upon the engagement and am so glad to get to work with Ryan’s family again as well. These are some awesome people, and I can’t wait to see what life has in store for Erica & Ryan!

Erica & Ryan are both RN’s with Geisinger and met at a mutual friend’s wedding that Erica was the Maid of Honor in. For the proposal, Ryan & Erica were in Florida when Ryan popped the question while jet skiing around the Gulf of Mexico.

"Will you marry me?!?" and all I could get out was "YES, uhh, of course!" It took a solid minute and when my heart caught up with my brain, I started crying uncontrollably. Even though it was something I knew would happen for a long time, no one can prepare you for when it happens, especially when I never let myself get surprised! I am just so happy he waited until I could be surprised because its going to be something I laugh about and remember forever.”

Ryan & Erica chose to do their session in Lodi, New York, where they spend their anniversary together near Seneca Lake & the wonderful wineries in the area. Congratulations Erica & Ryan, I’m so looking forward to your big day!
