Wrightsville Beach North Carolina Engagement Session

I just LOVE the Wilmington, NC area and always get so excited to be able to spend time on Wrightsville beach!  As a PA girl, the beach has always been my happy place and although I never actually lived there, Wrightsville Beach sort of felt like a home away from home from the first time I visited.  I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to shoot Mallory & Justin's engagement session on our most recent visit & even test out a new camera system, the Fuji X-h1.  

This is actually a two part blog post, and you can check out the Wilmington Arboretum part of the session here.  

We started the morning at the Arboretum, took a break midday, and then met back up in the evening at Mallory & Justin's beach house to shoot part two on the beautiful Wrightsville Beach at golden hour!  We had the south end of the beach mostly to ourselves which made for some gorgeous aerial shots (check out the color of that water!).  We then took a little walk down to Crystal Pier because, well, I'm sorrrrrt of a pier geek, if that's a thing.  I just think they're beautiful and so picturesque!  We ended the night watching a gorgeous sunset on the south end of the beach, which was the perfect way to close out our evening.
