Alexis & Ryan | Colorful Fall Engagement Pictures

It is always such an honor and a privilege (and a tad bit exciting and intimidating) when a fellow photographer reaches out to you to shoot something as monumental as their wedding day.  As always, I love a good challenge and I was so excited and honored to be able to book Alexis and her fiance Ryan for their upcoming 2016 wedding!  They were so patient with me and my completely chaotic schedule and life right now, and were willing to travel to my property (nearly an hour away) for their session, even though we actually had to reschedule their original session due to rain.  I swear, it was the only time that it rained in the entire month of August, but it worked out to their advantage because a few weeks later the weather had cooled off and we had an absolutely perfect evening for a session! Alexis chose a gorgeous palette for capturing some amazing colorful fall engagement pictures, with navy and wine paired with soft creams and touches of gold jewelry.  I love a good color palette for portrait sessions, and this combination was just perfect.  The icing on the cake was the fact that Alexis and Ryan are so easygoing and it was SO easy to laugh with them and talk with them as if they were friends, not clients.  I think you can see by the looks on their faces that this session was so effortless and that they are both radiating with love and excitement as they move toward their wedding next year.
