Oyster Weddings Genetti Wilkesbarre PA | Emily + Michael

Emily & Michael's late July wedding was truly one of the most stunning days I ever had the opportunity to be a part of.  Emily originally was planning more of an outdoor type of event, but through some planning ultimately decided on an Oyster Weddings Genetti event in Wilkesbarre, Pennsylvania.  The venue was so perfect for her romantic affair, with pink and gold creating a fairy tale experience in the ballroom fit for any princess.

I admire Emily's personality so much, and I absolutely love this pair together as a couple.  Emily is so calm and gentle, and really has a strength of putting people at ease that are surrounding her.  You can tell by the look in her eyes that she genuinely cares about the people in her life and has a great ability to love.  My favorite parts of this day were probably having the opportunity to witness their first look in the church.  Emily and Michael chose to see each other for the first time in the sanctuary of this beautiful church and exchange gifts as well as have an intimate prayer session together.  You can just see the look of excitement and joy on their faces during this time, and it was such a beautiful thing!

The reception at Genetti in Wilkesbarre kicked off with some amazing speeches courtesy of the groom's brother (bestman) and bride's sister (maid of honor) who actually happen to be married themselves... imagine that!  Jacqueline recounted a perfectly fitting story of a special queen and princess and managed to fit in a little song and dance into the act, which set the stage for some wonderful food, celebration, and a killer night of dancing!
